WHAT IS CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY?
The CranioSacral system consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. This continuous system extends from the bones of the skull, face, and mouth (which compasses the cranium), down to the sacrum (tailbone area). This CranioSacral system influences both the development and the performance of the brain and spinal cord. Any imbalance or restriction of this system could negatively affect sensory, motor, or neurological systems. These problems may include chronic pain, eye difficulties, learning disabilities, migraines, and other health problems. CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle method of detecting and correcting the imbalances, allowing the body to heal and function at an optimal level. This removes negative effects of stress on the central nervous system, allowing better overall health and resistance to disease.

HOW IS CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY PERFORMED?
CranioSacral Therapy is performed by using a very light touch. The therapist monitors the CranioSacral rhythm. Using delicate techniques, the problem areas are released which relieves undue pressure on the brain and spinal cord. With the help of CranioSacral Therapy, the central nervous system becomes free from restriction, and is able to perform to its greatest level of health and overall functionality.
